1980 Volkswagen DIESEL truck

45000 actual miles....all body panels appear to be original

4 cylinder DIESEL and 5 speed manual transmission

starts runs drives and brakes excellent....actually is pretty darn fast to be a diesel without a turbo on it.....no problem keeping upor evenpassing cars!

has some cosmetic issues but they are very minor....the fenders, ab, ood, nd both bed side quarter panels are very nice dent free condition.

Noticeable flaws are two crease dents in tailgate just above the bumper, ouple of door ding, un cracked dash board on top, nd an

aftermarket toggle switch to controlthe pre-heater, oth interior door skins have curled edges from heat shrinkage (need to be wetted down and flattened out to restore flat)

The floor pandoes have a smallrustedarea under the passenger side foot well about 4-6 inches as well as a few smaller areas on the drivers sidethat could be easyfiberglass mat fix

There is the typical rust at the door inside edge bottom as well.....very minimal.... easy sand and repaint fix

It would be easier to replace the rear bumper than to try and fix it.....or just leave it the way it is, ince it is just cosmetic

The inside truck bed is in beautiful conditionwith just minor surface rust but no holes thru the bed....there is only ONE 1 inch round x 1/4 inch deepdent that I could find inside the bed on one of the top slat ridges almost like a ball peen hammer was dropped on the slat surface

Tires shouldbe good foranother 10-15 thousand miles and the wipers wont come on.....I am not an "electrical" guy but I am including a good used wiper motor in the sale.

There is no headliner in it but parts for these trucks are easy to find.

OVERALL....thistruck should be considered a"project". You could probably drive it 50+ thousand trouble free miles, ut you would want to eventually fix the rust issues....or just drive it as is, as a "daily driver"
