I've driven this car on many road trips, ncluding one all the way from Denver to Costa Rica and back. I've paid bribes to Honduran highway police officers from this car. I've had great adventures, nd it's time for someone else to take a turn! Its most recent road trip was in June, 600+ mile journey to Missouri and back, uring which it performed very well. It is in daily driver condition and is more than capable of highway driving (and not in the slow lane!).I've had this bus since 2005 and put about 25k miles on it in that time. I believe the odometer to reflect original miles (83k).This is a bit of a late season auction, s there is no working heat in the VW - but I am willing to drive the the vehicle anywhere within 300 miles of Chicago, eather permitting - included in the auction price. Additional miles @ $1.00 per mile.
