I bought this 1971 VW Karmann Ghia cabriolet out of a divorce sale. All title issues have been taken care of and I am the owner of this car.
Restoration had been started. All collision damage has been cut out and replaced, eft rear quarter was welded in from a donor vehicle. All rusted areas were cut out and replaced using prefabricated patch panels or 16 ga sheet metal. Floor pans are all new metal that has been coated. During the tear down process, t was found the nose had been replaced earlier but misaligned. That has been fixed. Somewhere between 1/4th and 1/3rd of the body has been repaired or replaced.
Body was painted in a Porsche Turquoise blue color. The custom modifications were kept to a minimum so it can be easily returned to stock shape. The reflectors under the taillights were removed and the the holes smoothed over. The chrome side trim, ll the holes were filled in to give the car a smoother look. The torsion bar inspection hatches were also smoothed over.
And then I simply ran out of energy to finish the restoration since I have acquired a 1958 VW Karmann Ghia coupe that has occupied my time and the car has been sitting under a car cover for years. So I am selling this car to a new owner who can bring the car back to life. There is plenty of surface rust and bubbles, ut it looks like nothing has eaten through. Ground stayed dry after I sprayed water on pan, o no leaks.

Complete but un-restored cabriolet top with wooden header bows in good shape.
Cabriolet rear glass that only the 69 1/2 to 74 cabriolets had.
Both cabriolet only door glass.

NOS VW exterior mirrors in boxes.
NOS Hella front turn signals with reproduction turn signal bases.
Headlight buckets.
Taillights with American lenses.
Complete front and rear bumpers that are in fair shape.
Great shape Type 3 air cleaner that looks brand new.
NOS SWF turn signal assembly.
New Sachs pressure plate, hrow-out bearing, nd transmission mounts.
Gas tank.
Brake fluid reservoir.
New pedal assembly and master cylinder.
Karmann Ghia Parts & Restoration trunk liner and dash face.
Original intact top dash pad with VIN still fixed.
And there are plenty of other parts that I am forgetting to mention that will go with the sale.
