1970 Deluxe Bus. This VW Bus runs and drives great, t has a 1600cc single port engine with 15,000 miles on it since rebuild. It is freshly tuned up with new spark plugs fuel filter air cleaner valve adjustment and oil change. The Transaxle was rebuilt 15,000 miles ago as well and works perfectly with a heavy duty short shifter made by Scat performance with a one year old clutch kit and new starter. The brakes have been gone through with new rubber brake lines new rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. the brakes work very well and do not pull side to side like many other buses.
The front end had new ball joints installed and tie rods 4 years ago and steers and drive very nice for a VW Bus.The bus was painted in March of 2015 and shows very well for a daily driver paint job and is painted on the exterior and interior and was professionally undercoated in the fenderwells and the frame. The interior has a newer headliner that's about 4 years old in a beautiful grey cloth material and is in good shape still. Has the rear seat with nice padding and three seat belts rear the rear cargo area has a double layer of Tan carpet and the insulation panel underneath to keep the interior quite while driving. the middle interior has tan carpet as well with a thick soft insulation panel under the carpet to also keep the interior quite during driving. The front two seats have nice padding and two front seats belts front tan carpet and all the dash gauges work including accessory Tachometer and oil pressure gauge. Front turn signals/parking lights work front windshield wiper works Rear brake lights and tail lights including license plate light and headlights and all interior gauge lights.
I have owned this bus for 3 years and have done numerous 1000 mile trips in it with 3 other adults in it with camping gear and misc.items with no running or driving problems not once. I have complete faith in this bus and I use it as a daily driver when my other car get's boring to drive and I need some excitement. If your looking for a magazine cover car this bus is not for you. This bus is a nice solid california bus that you can enjoy comfortably and looks very nice and is very dependable.
The title is clean and in my name and is currently registered. I have the title in my hand. I will only accept cash or direct wire transfer to my bank account and a non refundable deposit of $500 will need to deposited within 24 hours after the auction has ended. Any and all shipping cost will be the responsiblity of the buyer. I can meet the transport company at my residence at a certain time so they can load it on there truck
