- Title: Clean, prior owners
- Mileage: Approximately 109k
- 1.8L PG Block, -Valve Supercharged engine. The supercharger for this car is often referred to as the G-lader due to its internal shape. It is creating some boost but will need to be rebuilt.
- The car has original 15" BBS wheels. They are gloss black wheels, mported directly from Germany. I have 4 center caps to go with them.
- "Red dot" interior. This vehicle has a nice interior and needs very little work.
- Aftermarket stereo and speakers
- Hood has installed hood pins
- New knock sensor, iming belt and covers, rake fluid reservoir cap and many other new parts
- Touch-button start
- Working speed sensing spoiler
- Sunroof (not currently working- has been disconnected)
History of my ownership:
When I first received the car the timing was not set properly and that has been corrected. I was told by the seller that the supercharger is in working condition and only needed to be rebuilt. I have not taken the supercharger apart so it is possible but I would factor that it may need extensive repair work to be fully functional. Some of the engine harness wiring under the hood was tapped into in order to run wiring for a push button start system and battery bypass switch. It makes a wonderful security feature but you may wish to sort out the wiring to make the ignition the primary starting method as is typical and clean up the harness a bit under the hood. The serpentine belt will need to be replaced and some additional sensors may need to be changed if you decide to re-do all of the wiring. The vehicle could use new wheel studs on all four wheels, his is a relatively inexpensive process but should be done for optimal safety. In addition, ou may want to evaluate all of the suspension system as well to ensure proper alignment and reconnect the electric seatbelts that are disconnected.
Why the sale?:
My life situation has changed and I would like to sell the car. It simply is not the project I want to continue to take on. But again, he car is running and drives and will make a great project for someone willing to invest the time into it. For a VW or Corrado enthusiast- this is the perfect car. I have some extra parts like the wheel center caps, n extra fender and any other switches, uses and replacement parts I can find around the garage for this very special car. I am willing to allow inspection of it if you would like - however, his will need to be worked around my availability.
