1965 beetle pick up

Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1965

this bug was in the arizona desert for alot of it life,brought up to oregon for someones grandson,but he was not interested.the pick up kit was from the 1970's,The rims I was told are some sought after bran, but I didn't remember what brand.Runs well with no smoke.I was told it was a 1600 dual port motor.runs and drives good,Tires have a great tread but have small cracks,they hold air fine.No heater,parking brake handle is missing but the brake cable and heat cables are there.the tranny has a aftermarket strap bracket on it.Brand new empi 34 pic carb,no points electronic ignition.The Head lights and blinkers work,but the dash lights go out then come back on.seats are bolted to the floor,but need to be beefed up.turn signal lever is broken off about two inche, still works.horn is there but I never got it to work.paint is chaulky due to the desert sun.I have a vw tow bar for it .Some paint and new wood on the back it would be a nice ride.Don't have door keys so You can't lock it right now.great project for a bug nut.
