1969 Volkswagen VW Bay Window Bus

Description for Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon 1969

This is a 1969 VW bus that was purchased around 1997. It was completely media blasted prior to paint and body work. The body is nice but it is not perfect. It isn't laser straight but is nice driver quality. The paint is PPG single stage white and hugger orange. There is a paint chip in the white on the rear hatch as seen in the last picture. There may be some minor scratches from storage. The front floorboards were patched with new sheetmetal welded in. The paint was completed around 1999 and there is no rust anywhere on the body. The original glass is all there and in good condition. All new rubber seals (over $1000) are included. Other new parts include, ubcaps, hite VW mudflaps, xhaust, hite vinyl headliner, ray carpet and custom made white and orange interior panels. There is a rebuilt Beetle engine that is included in the sale and needs to be installed.
