1986 VW Scirocco 16v – Wolfsburg Edition

This is a daily driver that is in process of being restored: Rare car in this condition.

The exterior has been painted the original tornado red. The interior is a 6/10. The dash has been replaced but was several cracks. The motor and manual transmission are solid, see list below of what has been done to date on the car. Currently passes NC inspection.

Oil change and plugs, fuel filter (most recent July 2016)

Paint Car/Restore wing ($1800)

New BF Goodrich Super Sport Tires (less than 1000miles)

New JNC Rims

New Rubber seals, all doors, trunk and sunroof

Install VDO fuel pump

Replace coolant sensors

Replace shift linkage

Replace Front Wheel Bearing

New Raceland Headers

Replace Ball Joints/Tie Rods

New Battery

Install Raceland Coilovers

Replace Heater Core

Strut Mounts Replaced

Brake Master Cylinder Replaced

Brake Lines Replaced

Valve Cover Gasket Replaced

Door locks and ignition switch

Serpentine Belt/Fan Cover

Replace lift hatch pistons

New belts

New air induction boot

New antenna

2 sets of Keys

Next steps:

Air Conditioner does not work

On the instrument cluster all works except the gas gauge

Radio needs rewired

Sunroof has a small leak (haven’t found it yet)

Doors were converted to manual windows…tight to unroll and reroll windows

Needs a headliner

Interior needs re-done
