Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1972

This listing is for my 1972 VW beetle. The car originally belonged to my neighbor who was the original owner. She did not drive it much and had not driven it for several years, other than around the block to keep it from being damaged from setting. She ask if I would help her get it running so she could sell it as she did not have room to keep it in her garage any longer. Since she did not have the money to fix it and it no longer ran because of the battery, I decided I would help her out and buy it for myself. I planned on keeping it for a daily driver so I spent a lot of money getting in good running condition. It has a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and rear main oil seal. The carburetor was replace with a new progressive 2 barrel and a new intake manifold. The distributor was replaced with a new electronic unit. The muffler and tail pipes are new. The battery and tires were replaced and it has new seat covers too! The car runs and drives very good. Now I have decided to sell it because I need a truck and I don't have room for both the VW and a truck! I have listed it as-is with very low reserve. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
