Offered for sale is an amazing VW Van/Bus with a new engine, rebuilt transmission, Cold front and rear AC, all original interior in excellent condition.
1987 Wolfsburg Edition Volkswagon Vanagon
2.1 liter Wbx, automatic transmission with air conditioning. Engine completely rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago including new aluminum heads, rings and valves. Transmission rebuilt at the same time. New muffler, new fuel pump, all new belts and hoses, new brakes (pads on front, new drums and shoes on rear), new tires. Instrument cluster foil replaced with hard circuit board and led lighting. Great sounding premium stereo, AM/FM, MP3, USB, CD and new door speakers. Upgraded halogen headlights. All original upholstery, no rips, no tears. Original carpeting that has been covered with truck bed rubber since new. California Weekender package inside (bed and table) with 2 removable jump seats. Great for cruising or camping. New window tint for privacy and cooling.
This Vanagon is clean and in good original condition. It has been serviced and it is roadworthy. It does not look or drive like a vehicle with 188k miles. It is an ideal examplefor a first time bus/van buyer as is. This is not a project, and has no major modifications.

Fully Remanufactured 2.1 Liter Long block, including heads. The 2.1 was standard in 1987. Built on 1.9L case, so it can be used in '83-85 Vanagons that originally had 1.9L engines, without any other modifications.
