1979 was the last year of the Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible . This car is totally rust free. Car was painstakingly taken apart all fenders, chrome, lights, windshield, car was completely stripped to bare metal, primed and done correctly with a beautiful new original factory perfect paint finish. Fenders were properly put back with new piping, new seals on doors, new hood and engine compartment seals. New windshield was installed along with new rear pans which were showing wear near battery box. New black vinyl floor covering. New marker lights, new tail lights, chrome, running boards. A complete new convertible roof was installed with new rear wood bow. New headliner. New Battery. Lots more, too much to mention. Interior seats are original and in excellent condition. Tires are in great condition with 95% tread remaining. Just left the mechanics shop with new heater hoses, timing, tune up and oil change.
No leaks. Car drives as good as it looks, front end is tight and shifts as it should. Comes with VW emergency road kit, air compressor, cables, even has a VW umbrella.
