The time has come to find a new home for my 1972 Karmann Ghia. Thank you for looking.
This Ghia had a previous restoration in which it was painted a dark blue color and was treated to blue tweed headliner and seat covers. I have used it as a daily driver and it received some very approving looks. It could continue to serve in that role for some time but the appearance is in need of some refreshing.
The rear seat covers and headliner are in very good condition. The front seat covers, while serviceable could be replaced along with the door cards. The dash is original but quite sun-baked by now. The car is equipped with American Eagle wheels. There is some rust underneath the battery and some bubbling in the paint in the quarter panel adjacent to the battery. Please see the pictures in this listing for a better idea of the condition of the upholstery, pain, etc. I have had no problems with the engine or the brakes. I do not know how many miles are on the car or on the engine.
