Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1963
This is a very rare find. This 1963 Volkswagen Beetle is all original, it has never been repainted. The interior is all original as well. The engine is the original engine to the car. The tires have been replaced but still includes it's original spare tire. This car runs and drives great. It is an original Illinois car and according to research has only had 2 registered owners. This makes the car even more rare as it is a snowy midwest car and survived! It was driven 59,000 miles. There are minor chips and scratches in the paint from use. This car has NEVER been in a collision. It appears as though the bumpers have never even been off the car. The engine runs great and has plenty of power and does not smoke. The engine also looks to have never been out of the car.
The radio that is installed is a 1967 vintage and appears to have been installed by the original owner. There is an old installation sicker on the radio from "Hytech Services" in Aurora Illinois. They fabricated an antenna that lays behind the dash.
There are many more pictures in my google album. I will ad the link in a comment below as ebay will not let me put it in the main description.
