1974 Karmann Ghia - Professionally Restored - A REAL SHOW STOPPER!

This is a concourse class restoration by Flashback Unlimited in Akron, Ohio. Car was purchased from the desert southwest and is absolutely 100% rust free. During complete restoration the paint was removed down to bare metal, minor body work for dings and bumps from it's past. Epoxy primer, high build primer, Tangerine paint and clear coat buffed to perfect shine (no orange peel)! Engine rebuilt in 1992, all wearable engine components replaced with total restoration completed in 2016. New sunroof that was not an original offering, previous owner installed one and it was replaced. New tires, brakes and shocks. New exhaust system. New gas tank and sending unit. All window glass original except windshield which is new. Heater, front defogger and rear window defogger are original and work! Original VW chrome hub caps and original bumpers with new chrome applied. All new interior including dashboard, dash face and front package tray trim. upholstery. headliner, door panels, and carpeting. Car is completely rewired with new harnesses. Original Hella taillight lenses, reflectors, headlight mounting buckets, and dome light. Radio is not original but is a good sounding AM-FM Cassette unit with Fosgate Speakers. Original steering wheel has been replaced; original was cracked and not repairable. This one is a real head turner since there aren't too many left in the world. Only 549K were produced in their 1959-1974 production run.
