Description for Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1971

Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place!... I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection. This 1971 Volkswagen is located in a Copart facility in 25 RIVERVIEW DRIVE MARLBORO, NY 12542. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, clean title vehicle. You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear NY Transferable Registration. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia TCThe Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a sports car marketed in 2+2 coupe (1955-1974) and convertible (1957-1974) body styles by Volkswagen. The Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1 (Beetle) with styling by Luigi Segre of the Italian carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by the German coach-builder Karmann. As an alternative to the Type 34 Karmann-Ghia coupé, which Volkswagen had introduced to Europe in 1961, Karmann-Ghia do Brasil looked to Ghia in Turin for a reworked version of the Type 14 at the end of the 1960s. At the time Ghia employed Giorgetto Giugiaro, the famous Italian designer and he was set to work on the new Brazilian Karmann Ghia. The result was the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia TC (Touring Coupé), internally known as the Type 145, which was introduced in 1970.This was a roomy 2+2 coupe with a modern and comfortable interior. Underneath, it was similar to the Type 14, although the platform of the Volkswagen Variant was used rather than that of the Volkswagen Beetle. The main difference was the engine: the Type 145 TC was fitted with the 1584 cc flat-four air-cooled boxer unit from the Type 3 instead of the 1192 cc unit of the Type 14. The car had 65 hp (48 kW) @ 4600 rpm and a top speed of 86 mph (138 km/h), compared to the 34 hp (25 kW) and 72 mph (116 km/h) of the Type 14.• CLEAN AND CLEAR NY STATE TRANSFERRABLE REGISTRATION, FOR OLD CARS PRIOR TO 1973 NY STATE ISSUES A TRANSFERABLE REGISTRATION, SAME AS THE TITLE; YOU CAN REGISTER AND GET A TITLE IN YOUR STATE • ONLY 95,518 ACTUAL MILES, BUT THE TRANSFERRABLE REGISTRATION DOESN'T PUT THE MILES LIKE ALL THE OLD VEHICLES • COMES WITH SERVICE RECORDS • WELL MAINTAINED, GARAGE KEPT, VERY ORIGINAL CAR WITH THE RARE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION • FUEL LINES FIXED AND REPLACED, THE CARBURETOR HAS BEEN REBUILT, TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SERVICED, THE CLUTCH AND PRESSURE PLATE WERE REPLACED 4K MILES • HAVE 5 BOXES OF PARTS FOR THE CAR THAT HAVE BEEN COLLECTED THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AS WELL AS FUEL PUMPS, CARBS, DISTRIBUTORS ETC.
