This is a beautiful 1965 bug. This bug was purchased by the prior owner 40 years ago in 1976 from a military officer who was stationed in Germany where he purchased it new and shipped it to the states.

Always garaged. In 2003 it was professionally restored. Spared no expense on mechanical and paint work. Installed a new 1600 engine for a little more power. Replaced all rubber seals, hoses, shocks and brakes with all genuine parts. It has 12volt conversion and everything works perfect except original radio, it is hit or miss. Car is ready to go anywhere. New battery, starter, generator and wiper motor. heater and defrosters work great.

Also comes with an aftermarket roof rack. Has all original interior except for headliner and carpets have been replaced. Windows are original including the rear pop outs and all have factory polarized tint. Windshield has been replaced also with tint. The paint is deep and very shiny. All sheet metal is original, no panel has ever been replaced.
