This 1965 VW Bug Cabriolet is a very special "Barn" find. The car has been in California since new and was stored inside a barn up until is was recently uncovered. This is a stunning original 100% rust free survivor. The Bug was part of an estate that belonged to the original owner. It has 128,835 original miles. The car has never been mistreated, hacked, cut or abused in any way. It has been amazingly well preserved and is un-restored.
The car starts right up and runs extremely well! The engine sounds great and is in excellent tune. The car is bone stock with with no aftermarket modifications. The handling is superb, it is a fun and easy car to drive. Very solid and tight drive-train. There is no pulling, lurching, swerving or anything abnormal upon acceleration or braking. The clutch feels great!!

Cosmetically the car could not be more attractive! It is a beautiful driver quality car with so much character and curbside appeal it would almost be a shame to do anything to it. However if you're looking for the perfect candidate for a concourse show piece this is the car we would recommend. The Sea Blue (color code #L 360) paint has a beautiful shine! There are of course minimal imperfections (nicks, chips, dings, etc.) The overall appearance is outstanding!
The body, chassis and pan halves are bone dry and 100% rust free. The beauty of an original southern California car! The Bug has never been exposed to inclement weather, salt, or snow. It was primarily driven only during the summer months and has been garage kept.

The interior is in remarkable original condition! The seats are still soft and comfortable. The drivers seat has some minor wear, incredible condition to say the least at 54 years old. The soft top is also the original top and presents itself well with only minimal flaws.
