You are about to meet my best friend Tank. He is a 1978 Champagne Edition Westfalia Camper Van, and he is very unique. First, he is a very fun character in my new Mr. Roger’s-type children’s educational television program that airs on the Kentucky Educational Television network. I'm selling Tank so I can complete and deliver 24 episodes of my show to K.E.T. He has Herbie-the-love-bug-characteristics, he can drive by himself, he can open and close his windows & doors and he talks with a bell in the middle of his front tire. I have a very detailed video of Tank in a few of my episodes, then a detailed walk-around and walk-thru of Tank for you to see his condition, and then we go on a 30 minute drive so you can see that he drives and runs great. Check out the VIDEO HERE:

You also get two other buses with this purchase. Both are 1979’s and they are buses I keep for spare parts should I ever need them. I have only needed a left hand outside rear view mirror & turn signal lever off of the 1979 Westy, and in fact, this green bus drives better and has more power. It has been 2 years since I drove it and now I can’t get it to start because the cloth fuel lines need replaced. It does turn over as you will notice in the video. The other bus was given to me by a farmer here in Kentucky who liked what I was doing with my shows for children. This bus was rusted beyond repair and I did something very unusual with it. It’s pretty funny and you will recognize the bus in the video for sure. You will see both buses in the video.
Enjoy!

PS The gas tank in Tank was pulled, cleaned, and coated. No more rust in the tank. The gas sender unit works and the gauge on the dash works. All lights on the dash work. Speedo works. Shifts nicely. Comes with a 2nd accelerator pedal (just for kicks. When people see it, the gears start to turn in a fun way-comes with a 2nd clutch pedal which is rigged to an ahhhooooga horn.)
