Description for Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon 1978
1978 VW Pop Up Camper, No Rust, Runs Great. Condition is Used. Local pickup only.
I bought the bus in 1988 and ithas been garage kept since 1994. 111,605 miles. No significant rust because it was factory undercoated and I have had any rust removed as it appeared. Pop top canvas replaced 2011 but has one small wear spot in mosquito netting. Driver and passenger seats reupholstered. No oil leaks. Alternator replaced 1k miles ago. Original copy of John Muir guide to keeping your VW alive and some spare parts included. Some of the interior skin needs replacing (see photo). Somefinesse required occasionally toshift into 2nd gear. I love this car but it is time to pass it on to someone who will use it more.
