AZ CAR
This is cool survivor old skool VW Mark II series
We suggest viewing our auction on normal monitors
or tablet to get the most out of our large hi-def pics.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
1991 Jetta GLi that has been in Az for about pretty much
as long as we could track from the last owner.
Very solid body with no rot on or around this car could be found. The last owner had it for many yrs, an older lady
who planned on never selling it. She kept it always well
maintaned and serviced. She said the motor was rebuilt
at about 140k and it had 1 re-paint (the original color)about 15 yrs ago. It runs and drives great, working cold AC even
here in Az. Its not perfect, but for a 91 its very clean and
presents well. So far Ive noticed while driving it, that the
shifter linkage may need adjusting (hard to get into 1st on occasion) and Hi Beams not working, small scratch on the
right front wing come to mind off the top of my head.
About the restored salvage title, the previous owner
said it was due to it being stolen many yrs ago and had
some minor damage when recovered. Ive been all over
and under the car and tend to believe them because at
the time this happened, the cars werent worth much.
But the car was so well cared for, the owner decided to
keep it back then because she loved it so much. So thats
pretty much all I know. Check out the pics below, its in
amazing shape still and has about 190k on it right now.

Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.
WANNA BUY IT NOW ? SURE, shoot me a fair offer
DRIVETRAIN: the factory 4 cyl 2.0 16V motor is a proven
well engineered VW engine, and this one is no exception.
Word has it the lady had the motor rebuilt at about 125k or
freshened up, but no receipts come with the car to show it.
Im trying to contact the shop who she use to take it to all the time
to verify some of the work.
Runs, sounds and drives great. Never chipped or modded. As
a matter of fact, the only real mod I could find was the rear
muffler and tip dont look original, but sound pretty much stock.
Run thru all the gears, the motor performs well like it was
designed to and shifts nicely. Once in a while its a little hard to
get into 1st (and not R) But its not all the time and usually just
a simple linkage adjustment.
INTERIOR: take a look, the interior shows and looks great for
being an 91 model. Dont think it was ever restored, but just kept
very well over the yrs. Non smoker owned. The Recaros look and
feel great. Again its not perfect, but its really nice, even down to
the original radio. All the PWs arein working order right now too,
as is the hand crank sunroof. Upper dr side
upper seat belt has to be connected for the car to start, just fyi. I cant
get the lower dr lap belt to pull out.
EXTERIOR:the body again is in very nice shape, not really even any
signs of door dings on the car. The Red paint shows well and with a nice wax job, Im sure it would even be more stunning. Plastics and trim are also in
really nice shape. Biggest and most obvious mod is to the rear bumper.
Looks like it was cut out for a hitch at one time maybe ?
Factory BBS rims where refinished about 2 yrs ago, and fitted with new tires. Again, no mods and adult owned always.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very original
for its age. The brakes feel great too. No rot or major
Mods in this area that I could see. It handles like you would expect
a 90s Euro car to handle. VW engineered these cars so well from
motor to suspension. Factory sway bars are a nice touch.
Here again, no mods, just kept up normal wear n tear.
Tires are almost new.

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 9" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented VWs
Here on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you them
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what
surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy esp
long distance. Our auctions are very detailed.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
