Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1975

1975 Convertible Super Beetle, my first car, I have owned her since 1996. She caught on fire in 2002 and I had the engine rebuilt. I then could not get her to pass smog and had parked her since. She was outside from 2003-2009. She has been stored in my Garage since 2009. She runs well, I start her daily and take her on short trips when I can. I don't have her registered currently but as a classic now should not be an issue. I am the 4 th registered owner, my dad had it in his name when I was a minor. The person I purchased her from in 1996 had only owned her for 2 weeks, it is my understanding that They had purchased her from the original owners. She is a very beautiful and fun car to drive! Lots of smiles and waves. This year of SB is hard to find. I have not seen another in person, or for sale. I am parting with her because I do not have the time or money to get her back on the road legally and would love for her to be enjoyed by finding a new home. The top is new. Someone cut a 2" hole in it, just the first layer, should be patched easily. The interior could use some work, but is decent for her age. There is some minor body damage but for her age she is in good condition and has her original engine, and trim. The body is by Karmen. The body style is unique and gorgeous. I cannot deliver her, she would need to be picked up if purchased. Please only serious inquires. Thanks for looking at her!
