1956 Volkswagen Sunroof Beetle Bug . Condition is Used. Built in August of 1955. Car needs full restoration. It needs heater channels, floors, spare well & some fender well work. Original Paint. Never any metal work or bondo. Nothing hidden. Missing Driver’s Seat, tail light housings, spare wheel, ignition key, top of air filter, headlights, visor, & rearview mirror. These were stolen off the car when in care of 2nd owner-it sat behind a VW dealership for decades. I am the third owner for the last 4 years. I have stored this project inside, but have not had time to start in it. original 36hp engine needs rebuilding: #1-1159145, made same month as the car. 99% sure this engine is original asit has been with the car since before 1971. Please see photos. This is an opportunity to buy a true barn find vehicle that no one has monkeyed with. comes with four wheels with bad tires.
