Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1967

This Meyers Manx is finished in lime green with black seats and is powered by a 1,600cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The seller acquired the vehicle as a non-running project from his uncle’s estate in 2014, and subsequent work included stripping and refinishing the body and chassis components along with mechanical refreshment. This Manx is registered in Arizona as a 2006 Specialty Constructed (SPCON) vehicle and is now being offered in California with a Meyers Certificate of Authenticity and a clean Arizona title.
The Meyers Manx was built on a shortened Volkswagen Beetle chassis, and the fiberglass body on this example was repainted green by the seller.
Staggered-width 15″ wide-five aluminum wheels are fitted with BFGoodrich tires which measure 215/60 at the front and 275/60 out back. The car features transverse torsion bar front and swing-axle rear suspension with drum brakes all around.
The cabin is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel and a pair of fixed-back seats upholstered in black cloth with vinyl backs. Instrumentation is housed in an aluminum panel, and the car is equipped with a 12v outlet and USB chargers. The floors have been painted black, and photos of the underlying wiring are provided in the gallery. The seller reports that the oil temperature gauge is not hooked up and the odometer resets to zero when the battery is disconnected.
Power is provided by a 1,600cc Volkswagen flat-four equipped with a single carburetor, headers, a spin-on oil filter, and an alternator in lieu of the factory generator. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. The seller changed the engine and transmission gear oil and bled the brakes in preparation for the sale.
A signed Manx Certificate of Authenticity and badge bearing the authentication number are included. A drive-by video is viewable below, and additional driving footage
