Description for Volkswagen Cabrio 1989

For sale is our 1989 VW Cabriolet Convertible Karman edition with sweet plaid seats. It's been a fun car to own but I think it's time for it to relocate to a drier climate as the top leaks and we are tired of renting garage space to store it in winter.
Runs and drives well. Doesn't seem to burn oil, though the oil light does seem to come on when its super-hot in the summer. I would have that checked out.
I think a new seal between the top of the windshield frame and the convertible top would help the leak as there is a piece of rubber missing so you can see light through it.
It's a 30+ year old car that's not been restored but would be a great candidate for a restoration. Though we have taken it on some long day trips I would recommend trailering it to any distant destination BC of the oil light.
