Modified 1963 Beetle Fun car to drive and enjoy

Description for Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 1963

1963 Type 1 Volkswagen with rust free body, 2.0 liter stroker engine (78 x 90.5), and freeway flyer transaxle with 3.89 ring gear and 4-spidersuper diff.

Vehicle features include BEARDseats, one piece windows, lowered front torsion beam with adjusters, 145 x 15 front tires on 4.5 rims, 205 x 65 x 15 rear tires on 5.5 rims, four wheel drum brakes. Electrical system has been updated to 12 volts, one note howeve, radio may or may not work, it is not hooked up, it is a 6 volt stock radio.

Additional engine information: SCAT 78mm counterweighted stroker crankshaft, BERG deep sump oil reservoir, lightened-balanced flywheel,ENGLE W100 camshaft, dual valve springs, single WEBER 44IDF carburetor, OBERG oil filter, PERTRONIX electronic ignition module in distributor, OEM factory heat exchangers that work.

Although this vehicle has been entered in numerous car shows, it is more of a “driver” vehicle that will equal or exceed the posted speed limit on an Interstate highway. It is a funvehicle to drive. 70190 miles shown on odometer however I have no knowledge if this is accurate.

CleanIndiana title in seller’s name. Will assist in getting vehicle to a shippe, but arrangements need to be made by buyer.
