AWESOME 2WD ADVENTURE CAMPER!1982 Vanagon L with factory ASI Camper Package, Sunroof, heavy duty full Roof Rack and original Tent that attachesto the van's sliding door opening. (all included in the sale)Starts easily, is dependable, runs strong, shifts smoothly and goes down the road very straight and true.Has very low (136K) original miles and is FUN TO DRIVE!! Lots of recent work done.The 2.0 engine just had a fresh tune up including;--Valve adjustment, NEW plugs, wires, points, condenser, cap and rotor.--Fresh oil change with new filter using 20/50 Valvoline oil.--New battery.--New LT Tires and New Brakes all the way around.--Including: drums in back, new pads, rotors and calipers in the front.The headlights, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights and horn all work. New fuel filter and new fuel lines in the engine bay. (Safety First!) It is rare to find a tin-top camper, especially one in excellent condition. The camping package was added by A.S.I. Automotive Services, Inc. of Vancouver, Washington.In 1981-82 they added the sunroof, water tank, sink, counter shelves, refrigerator, cabinets, Z-bed, interior lighting and exterior shore power hookup. All of the essential camper items you need for super comfy exploration.ASI is renowned for their impeccable work and quality camper packages.The layout inside is extremely functional and maximizes every inch.It has ample counter space with a fold out shelf and plenty of storage drawers and cabinets.A clean refrigerator and a sink with a water tank for washing dishes~ JVC Stereo has AM/FM/CD and Bluetooth for hands free communication and music streaming.The glass is all good, including the factory sunroof that does not leak.The rear seat folds down to make for a very comfortable full size bed.Block out the light with the factory curtains that surround inside.The interior headliner is in great shape, nice and clean. This hardtop camper is preferred because of the very sturdy, heavy duty, whole rooftop rack.It give you the room and ability to tote along your kayaks, bags and extra adventure gear.The ladder hooks firmly into drain channel to make packing your cargo a breeze.White Stag made tents specifically for ASI VW Campers.
