1993 was the final model year for Volvo's most iconic vehicle, he classic 240. Running from 1974 to 1993, olvo sold 2.8 million of these cars, nd there are still a lot on the road due to their extreme longevity. There just are not so many available for sale as folks tend to keep them for so long. This example is a 2 owner, outhern car that has been here in Greensboro with the same owner since 1994. It is one of the best examples of a 240 sedan we have seen in a long time. It is still very original and complete. There is no rust and the exterior is in better than average condition. There are no dents or damage to mention. The paint is even, hiny and very good - it appears to be either excellent original or redone extremely well. The only real exterior litem to note is that the glue is showing where the body side molding have been reattached. The interior is still bright, lean and comfortable, ven the driver seat which are normally more worn in these cars. The original door map pockets are still intact which is a great indicator of a careful owner. The only let downs inside are that the rear deck carpet has faded, nd there is a small burn hole in the passenger seat - which is odd as this car does not otherwise appear or smell to have been smoked in. Everything works as it should, ncluding the a/c which is one of the reasons to buy a '93 model (since it came with modern R134A freon) From the first test drive, t was very clear that this Volvo is a true low mileage car that has also been properly maintained over the years. The maintenance log book backs this up, ith notes all the way to 138k miles showing regular oil changes and service. Our preparation for sale was all really normal age related items such as: oil change, alve cover gasket replaced, am seals replaced, park plugs and wires replaced, rake fluid flush, new tires, ransmission service, tate inspection, ew sun visor clips, nd a detail. The maintenance book, wners manual, nd 6 keys are present. This will be a great car for someone who wants a nice example of a 240.
