Description for Volvo 240 1993
I am the second owner of this extremely well-maintained 1993 Volvo 240 Wagon Classic Limited Edition. This is one of the last 1600 sold in North America. It is fully equipped with working A/C, orking heated front seats, ower windows, ruise control, ood dashboard trim and unique serial number (#1027 out of 1600). Everything works and runs perfectly, hether on back roads or on the highway. The undercarriage is rust-free and the interior is in excellent condition -- with the exception of small tears on the driver's seat, pparently a recurring problem in cars with heated seats. It was garaged for thefirst two decades of its life!Tires are just a year old. It comes with a full set of winter tires as well.
The previous owner also kept a meticulous record of all maintenance and work performed on this excellent wagon since 1993. Here are some of the most recent:October 2010 (181,000 miles): New timing belt and water pumpAugust 2012 (approx. 209,000 miles): Complete tune-up and new batteryJune 2014 (approx. 227,000 miles): Complete exhaust system and complete brake system (rotors, alipers, ads & pistons)April 2015 (approx. 230,000 miles): New brake line in rear driver's sideJuly 2015 (approx. 232,000 miles): New rear shocks, ew headlights and new engine gasket.
Now for the not-so-perfect details:- The odometer has stopped at 184,407 miles, nd although the replacement piece was purchased by the previous owner, either I or he chose to monkey with the dashboard to replace it. So I am assuming the current mileage is between 230,000 and 234,000.- Tears on the driver's seat, hich I have kept covered to prevent extending damage!- The one patch ofrust you will find is on the hatch. Watch the pictures carefully as I have taken some close-ups.- You will also notice the hood is not perfect right above the grille.
Beside these four items listed above, his Volvo 240 Wagon Classic Limited Edition runs beautifully and you will be impressed with its solid condition. More detailed pictures are available on Flickr. I will gladly e-mail you the link.
