Description for Volvo Other 1990
Currently this car is not drive-able. When I was driving it a week ago a hose blew off that connects the radiator to the thermostat/engine block, nd most of the coolant was lost. Luckily for me I was very close to home and pulled it into the driveway where it currently sits.Aside from the cooling problem, here is a slow constant drain on the battery. After about three weeks the power will be too low to start the car. The battery is still under warranty from Sears, nd I had them test the battery and it is fine. I disconnected the old Alpine security system and that helped but it didn't eliminate the drain.
Aside from those two problems the car is in good mechanical shape. Here is a list of the repairs made:
New heater control valve 2015, ew brakes 2014, ew radiator 2014,All new hoses (except turbo hose) 2014, ebuilt A/C with new bushings and mounts 2014, ew engine and transmission mounts 2014, ew battery 2013, ew blower fan resistor and overdrive relay 2012, ew instrument cluster dash light and right headlight 2011, ebuilt speedometer cluster, ater pump and timing belt 2011, ew rear shocks, nd transmission tail shaft bushing 2009.
I'm selling this car because I just don't have the time to continue working on it myself. I had wanted to turn this into a Bertone street racer. This car was my daily driver for years, nd it is a fun car to drive with the small turbo and large intercooler the spool time is very short. My first car was an 88' Bertone with the six cylinder engine and I can say that the Renault engine was terrible. The red block that's in this car is very tough and since it being one of the last red blocks it has forged pistons and connecting rods.

Currently this car is not drive-able. When I was driving it a week ago a hose blew off that connects the radiator to the thermostat/engine block, nd most of the coolant was lost. When the hose burst it took some of the plastic nozzle that the hose connects onto. I tried to take some pictures but it is still hard to see. The picture that looks into the hose you can see some of the plastic nozzle in the hose. Luckily for me I was very close to home and pulled it into the driveway where it currently sits.
