Description for Volvo Very Rare 210 1967

Here I have a unique and very rare find for the Volvo enthusiast.Never imported when new these wagons are extremely scarce here in the US. This particular example was owned and maintained for years by one of the first Saab, Volvo, and Triumph dealers in the States here in Vermont. Driven less than 61000 miles it remains in excellent mechanical condition. Ziebarted and grease undercoated since first imported the body, chassis, full frameandfloors all remain rust free. The car has always been maintained by a master Volvo and Saab technician until a few years ago. Under his stewardship the engine and transmission were replaced with a B20 unit built to full Volvo Rally spec stage two level consisting ofbig valve head, ported and polished ports, larger SU's, mild cam, and tubular headers andheavy dutyclutch and pressure plate.Performs very well, handles well, although you have to remember it is a bit tall! All instruments, lights, electrical work as new. Dash pad while not cracked is a bit wavy but certainly presentable. Rare Volvo wood steering wheel and under dash tachometer.

I have known this car for years and actually had the previous owner service all of my classics including Healey's, Morgans and Triumphs. After his passing the car remained in storage for a few years. About a year ago I was fortunate enough to acquire the car from his family. At the time it needed little except a good clean and tuneup. I did however have the entire car professionally painted to show standards. Mechanically all systems were checked and repaired if needed such as brakes, exhaust, tuneup, etc. What remains to be done to complete the restoration consists of a few pieces of weatherstrip, minor upholstery repair, and if you desired a show piece I would refinish the beautiful woodon the interior floor although it still looks very nice. The tires while in excellent shape are a bit dated. Overall this is a very nice example of a very rare Swedish classic with little left to do to make it a show stopping classic.

The car is available for inspection at my home in Vermont by appointment. Bid with confidence the car is seriously for sale and a very fair reserve has been set. email any questions or concerns, all will be answered promptly and honestly. Thank you for your interest and best of luck in your bidding. The new owner will not be disappointed in this automobile.
