Description for Volvo Other 1969
No Reserve - 1969 Volvo 1800s - Color Code 94 - Complete Car - 4 Speed + OverdriveClean Title From Washington State (Originally Car was Dark Green)
This 1969 Volvo 1800s featuring Stromberg carburetors is for sale out of Olympia WA. It's original B20 engine and 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive is still in the car. The odometer currently reads 86517 and it's unknown if it's rolled over. The engine turns over and seems to have compression.
The body needs rockers on the left side and some nose work on the front right. The rest of the body does show some surface rust in various places but is pretty solid all around. The trunk is dirty but not showing any typical rust or holes in the back. The paint is old and will need a new paint job to win any car shows. :) The floor is soft in spots and may need short cross members repaired soon. Over all the body does have some needs but definitely a great project car to bring back. The car is missing it's front chrome surround but does come with the grille.
The interior is complete, just not put together. Some of the gauges from the dash are in the trunk, all the pieces and parts go with the car. The headliner is tight with no holes and in good shape. The electrical has not been tested but does seem to be all complete and unmolested. Transmission shifts thru the gears fine and the brakes are not frozen, car hasn't driven in a while and new brakes will probably be on the repair list, the car rolls fine.
There's a Texas sticker in the window from 1982 and it's unknown how long it stayed down there.
All the glass is there and is in great shape expect for the front windshield where there's a crack in the bottom right.
