Description for Volvo 240 1979

For sale is my 1979 Volvo 244 DL (Known by everyone as Velma) Has 112k miles, 3 speed auto, originally sold in Kansas and has been in Alabama for more than 12 years. Interior is in great shape, no cracks in the dashboard and no worn or faded spot on the cloth. No rust, a few scratches in the paint on the trunk lid and a couple places in the windshield from storm damage. Lots of new parts recently put on. New brake pads/ rotors, intermediate drive shaft bearing, alternator, high and low note horns, fan clutch, fuel gauge sending unit, waterpump and timing belt replaced 5 years ago but hardly have any miles on them, rheostat rebuilt so the dash lights work now, transmission pan gasket, Wheels were just repainted, windshield wiper relay, tie rod/ tie rod ends/ lower ball joints.... etc. A/C currently non functional, probably because of the old style york compressor. The car will also need a new brake master cylinder which I have and will include in the sale along with 9 new oil filters.
