Up for bid is a 1993 Volvo 940 945 non-turbo wagon I'm helping a friend sell. Its a 4th car for him and he is downsizing. Car has zero rust and is in excellent shape.

This car was originally a Northern California car. It was sold to another individual in NorCal then moved to Arkansas. I bought it there with a badly blown head gasket. It also had had some transmission issues so I pulled the entire drive train and had it all rebuilt 100%. The trans was completely overhauled, and the motor was fully rebuilt by a 40 yr Volvo master tech. All new sensors, a 5 angle valve job and T-cam (from a turbo - better low end power) added. Distributor was moved to the block - easier access, much cheaper maintenance and no oil leak issues as the head mounts are known for. An all metal HD wide radiator was also added. It was bought shortly thereafter and moved to its new and current home in Columbus, GA. Car has never seen winter and current mileage on the drive train and all the updates is about 14,000 miles.

Car rides on 4 straight 16" alloys wrapped in Mastercraft 60k tires. Exhaust is a full front to back stainless free flow system. IPD sways front and rear were added along with new endlinks and steel control arms (like the turbos came with - they're stronger). Car rides and handles beautifully.

Interior was originally a rough tan interior. That was gutted and a new gray dash installed, new carpet, a new gray headliner and gray leather power seats from a 96 965 (front and back). While the dash was out the heater core was replaced with a new original Volvo copper core unit. A new blower was also added. The cluster was professionally overhauled for a capacitor upgrade - to prevent the failures they are prone to have. Mileage is accurate and everything works.
Car has an aftermarket stereo - Kenwood receiver, MB Quart speakers and 4x100 amp. E-code headlamps with the relay upgrade (higher lighting performance), a glass moonroof and side glass antenna from a 96 960 wagon.
Cruise does work but needs the pedal vacuum switch replaced (included). AC works and blows cold but needs a recharge. Only Mobil One synthetic oil and Mann filters are used - fresh oil change with <100 miles on it. Ready to be driven anywhere.
