In the old days, I could find over a dozen parts cars at Pick-N-Pull. Decades later, my wife would be approached by prior owners of this model who asked if her car was for sale.
Now I am inundated with inquiries from a local ad from prior owners afar. It's a nuisance. This model is the predecessor of the present-day Sports Utility, all purpose vehicle. Many remember the reliability and practicality of its configuration and small foot print.
Same owner 30 years. All receipts. Dead reliable manual with OD. AC. New battery. Recent front and back fuel pumps and 3 tires. Electronic ignition. Fuel injection. Disc brakes. This is old school with just the technologyto keep up with present day traffic. No computers or error codes to deal with. Original engine with 190k miles. Does not burn a drop of oil. The original paint still shine like new with a wax. This car had lasted longer than two owners.
After a death in the family, it's been put in Non-op with no penalties. Smog check history is available. Update: A tree branch from the recent storm had taken out a chrome car from the luggage rack. You can choose to replace, repair or take it off. (This is an estate sale. Vehicle is far from me to take more photos. I will if I get a chance.)
Seller will cooperate with Buyers shipper upon payment in full. May assist in delivery within 100 miles.
