Description for Willys CJ2A 1946

1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A Long Term North Dakota Car (Dry!) 134ci L-4 / 3spd T90 Manual Trans VIN: CJ2A74875 Engine: 134ci L4 “Go Devil” (J-74711) Transmission: T-90 3spd Manual Chicago Car Club is pleased to present this 1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A! We purchased this ‘46 Willys out of North Dakota, where it had remained for decades. While the car shows some general minor cosmetic wear (like scratches inside the bed) from routine use, it is mechanically very well sorted and retains a fantastic amount of originality. The... car runs and drives extremely well, and is an absolute blast on a sunny day. The car retains a “correct” ‘46 J-code “Go Devil” motor and T-90 3spd manual transmission, and shows very nicely inside and underneath. As it sits, this Willys is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner. Exterior: - Please see the video accompanying the listing, as the car is shown in detail. - Light lenses are all clear and crack-free, driver’s side of the windshield is cracked. - 15 inch black steel wheels look great and are wrapped in older 30 inch Goodyear tires. - The windshield can both be propped open by hand as well as removed entirely by undoing a couple of bolts. - The car will come with a Bestop soft top and side curtains (doors), both of which are in excellent shape. - Body is in great shape, with no dents or damage other and minor chips and scratches. Please defer to the video. Interior: - Gauges are functional. Seats are excellent. Not really much else to note. Very utilitarian. Underneath / Underhood: - The car is quite nice underneath. Absolutely no through rust. This car was garage-kept in a dry state and it shows. - The car is in very good mechanical order. Truly no tendencies of any concern whatsoever on the road. - The 134ci L4 motor is correct for the car. Engine number J74711 denotes a 134ci “Go Devil” from 1946.
