Description for Willys Roadster 1941
Looking for a work of Art want attention then read on : Only 532 miles since build Wins 1st place at every show up and down the East and West Coast 1 of a kind was close $200k on Build no expense spared A body style that is inspired by the legendary 41 Willys coupes, but converted into a smooth and swoopy roadster. This example is built around a custom tube frame with chromed four-link rear suspension, Mustang II independent front suspension and... rack & pinion steering. The custom chassis floats on Ridetech "Air Ride" suspension with push button ride height adjustment. Rolling stock includes Nitto NT-555 285/35-22 rear and 215/40-18 front tires for that "big and little" hot rod look. The tires are wrapped around Intro Pentia forged billet aluminum wheels. Four wheel disc brakes help slow and stop the monster Merlin big block Chevy that lives under the hood. The powerful engine is fitted with Merlin aluminum heads, ceramic-coated exhaust, and a Holley carburetor. It's dressed with sheet metal valve covers, and a one-of-a-kind body-colored air cleaner. The big-inch powerplant feeds into a four-speed overdrive automatic transmission. Incredibly smooth, the body features shaved door handles, a curved one-piece windshield and modern headlights along with that trademark Willys grille. The centerpiece of this custom build is its custom two-place interior with alligator inserts, a "waterfall" center console, polished tilt steering column and BonSpeed gauges along with a Lokar shifter.
