EXTREMELY RAREThis is a 1979 BMW 320i Baur E21 TC1. Before BMW started making 3 series convertibles, you could buy one converted by BAUR in Germany, then have it imported into the US. As such, it's a grey market car with all the euro goodies that BMW had to offer in 1979. These cars are rare and getting much more difficult to find. From 1978-1982 a total of 4,595 Baurs were produced. Production peaked in 1981, when a total of 1157 cars were converted that year. Given limited production, a "TRUE" Baur is a very rare thing. In 1979 815 were made in Germany and only 3 were imported into the US. This car is a European Model. Car is in great shape in and out with no rust, and runs and drives perfect. It was always garaged and very well kept up with and maintained.

The top is Two pieces. There is a center targa portion like a Honda Del Sol that stores in the truck, then the back part folds down like a regular convertible would.
