1962 Buick Special Convertible

Thank you for looking at this listing for a 62 Buick Special Convertible. I have owned it since last August and due to loss of garage I am forced to sell. It starts and drives . the chrome and trim are good. the body has a fair share of door dings and scratches. the paint is pretty rough. and the biggest problem at this point is a manual transmission that will not stay in second gear. a floor shifter has been installed rather than synchronizers its my opinion the shifter mounting is the source of the popping out of gear. I have installed a rebuild distributor and had the carb rebuilt with a gain in the overall drivability. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is listed elsewhere. thanks again for looking. wow ebay forces you to enter a mileage. at a real car auction unknown is a classification I have entered what the odometer says at this point in time but I have been told by the previous owner that he installed another gauge set so the true mileage is unknown and I will be driving the car this week.
