Description

  • This truck was purchased new in Up State South Carolina where the roads were NEVER salted
  • When the original owner passed, is son sold it toa neighborof mine
  • He installeda fresh 283 in it with Edelbrock aluminum intake, ew carb, ew headers, EI distributor,good cam,new radiator, ew clutch and pressure plate, ew brake shoes, tc.
  • Truck has loud pipes turned down before the rear axle...sounds great, ut a crappy home job that needs redoing in my opinion.
  • Then came divorce problems, nd he was forced to sell it. I bought it.
  • It runs great with no smoking, o ticking, o leaking, o running hot, tc. Has great oil pressure, oo.
  • He rebuilt the shifter (column) and it clicks in place!
  • There is no whining or noise in the transmission or rear differential
  • I had the wheels powder coated and added Goodyear tires. Rear wheels are wider than front
  • It drives like an Impala, ot a truck!
  • Even the factory AM radio plays great!
  • I have the paper work and owner's manual....the truck was painted in 1980 and that's what you see
  • It is very straight, ven the tail gate and wheel tubs are super straight. Bumpers are arrow straight, oo
  • It is the most rust free one of these I've ever seen
  • It only has rust in the bottom of the left fender (pictured) and front of the hood (pictured)
  • There is no rust in the rockers, ab corners, loors, r bottoms of the doors that I can find
  • The original bed rails are not rusty, ither. Original wood is rotted out.
  • All glass is nice and not scratched and have seen no water leaks when it rains
  • The missing trim on the passenger door is laying on the dash in great shape. Lost the clips.
  • Needs new wiper blades and the spring on the left arm is bad
  • All lights are working including turn signals, rake lights, ead lights, ash lights, tc.
  • All gauges are working, ut the speedometer is off as a later model transmission was put in at the time of the engine
  • I do not believe this truck has ever been wrecked, s I can spot no Bondo or misaligned parts
  • Note that this one has factory dual sun visors, actory dual mirrors, nd factory POWER BRAKES
  • It is a very nice truck in everyway
  • Most men wouldn't touch it, ust drive and enjoy
  • However, t is a super start for a full on show truck
  • You are welcomed to check it out underneath and drive it before you pay
