Description
1962 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside Restomod "Flat Bed Fred" beautiful award winning rust free, utstanding engineering and runs great. Older restoration by a Corvair Minnesota member still as nice today.Fred was restored with a rust free South Dakota Rampside Fred has always belonged to a Corvair Minnesota member and I am the 3rd owner. The bed is made of diamond plate and has a hydraulic motor to lift part of the bed for engine access controlled by a switch is in the cab. Fred has a 110 hp engine with a 4 speed and the steering is tight and a pleasure to drive. There is afull size spare tire behind the seat and Fred comes with a custom car cover., M radio with electronic antenna, ustom horn. I have found a Corvair Corsa so I need to find a new home for Fred. Let me know if you have any questions or need photos of a certain area on the truck. For further information on the truck you can contact CORSA treasurer and Corvair Minnesota member Paul Sergeant. On Nov-09-15 at 18:49:03 PST, eller added the following information:Forgot to mention that there are two lockable storage boxes under the flat bed that you can see in the photos. One on the left is deep and wide, t will hold several sets of golf clubs and there is a heavy roll up mat that is used during parades for a couple of lawn chairs. The small box on the right side is used for detailing supplies. The tank on the right side under the bed is supposedly from a 1920's combine and does not hold anything.
Thanks, br>
