This is a real SS. The engine numbers do not match the car. However, t is a special 396 L78 375HP, -bolt main from a 69 Nova. It runs strong. Great options on this Chevelle SS from the factory: tinted windows, ir conditioning, spd w/console, nd rear quarter antenna. The car is still a project, ut its has some good things added: front disc brakes from SSBC with slotted and drilled rotors. New Eibach springs front and back, ew tubular A-arms, nd PMT boxed control arms in the rear. New shocks. Tremec 5-speed transmission.
There are rust areas in the floorpans and truck pan. The new transmission came with a new tunnel, hich is riveted in place. At some point, ome fiberglass was installed instead of sheet metal patching. Car runs and drives, t is insured. I take it on the highway with no problems. I have the clear Texas title in hand. I have the car listed locally as well.
