Description

1966 Chevrolet C20 3/4 ton Longbox Fleetside.
I believe this also held the "Campers Special" mark but not certain.

This was my grandfathers truck and has been in the family for easily 40 years. He sold it prior to his passing and I later purchased it in hopes of restoring. It was used extensively as a farm truck. I drove it until a couple years ago, then parked it in a barn. I'm doubtful I will ever get to it so I'd like to see it go to someone who will use it.

It runs....probably needs the tank flushed out and a tune up but the engine and drivetrain are tight. The 292 has some minor leaks, not much has been done with it since 66. The odometer reads 62879, the clutch seems right as well as the brakes. Again, its been a farm truck since the 70's, so I would strongly suggest maintaining all safety areas prior to hwy use. Tires are garbage, passenger rear is flat, the rest are in line, bring a trailer.

Body....I'm pretty sure there is a dent in every panel on this truck, if not a dent then rust. The floor boards are rusted, the kick plates, front wheel wells, etc. The inside bed is in decent shape for its age, but will need repair eventually. The windshield is cracked but the door glass and back window appear to be good.

There is an engine in the back that will be removed in the next couple of days and is not included in the sale.

Its a project, all the way but its original and stout. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
