Description
*sigh*The time has come to part with my Blazer. I bought it when I was single and had all the time in the world. Now I'm married, and I just have too many projects. The Blazer will never make it to the top of the list!
I bought the truck from a guy in Michigan who'd putzing around with it. It was in DECENT shape, but definitely needed work. I had every bit of rust professionally repaired and had it repainted white as it came from the factory.
After the body was done in 2004 I had an engine rebuilt for it. A 350 (not the original) with a performance cam, hydraulic roller rockers, Vortec heads, and a Holley Commander 950 fuel injection.
The fuel injection has me stumped. For the life of me I just couldn't get it running as well as I wanted. In frustration I put it in the barn and it's been sitting there since 2006. At this point I BELIEVE it would run, but I won't guarantee it -- I'M SELLING IT AS-IS.
I have all the parts to finish the interior, including a new rear carpet. As you can see, I put sound mat down throughout the rear to help quiet it.
Do you have the time to finish up the project and own yourself a really awesome Blazer?
