Up for auction is a survivor unrestored 1965 Chevrolet Corvette coupe inMilano Maroon colorthat has lived its entire life in Arizona andCalifornia. The car is a 2 owner car, however, after buying the Corvette new from a dealership the original owner sold the car after only owning it for 1 year. That is when the second owner purchased it and has owned it all these years until a month ago. Irecently purchased the car from the deceased second owner's brother who had it parked in an indoor collector carwarehouse/storagefacility for several years.The car is in solid great shape with no rust or frame issues, but not perfect (for example the paint does have a few small chips on the passenger side door). After bringing it home I purchased anew battery and added gas and the engine started right up and seems to drive and shift fine. Also, I recently spent nearly $1,000 on the brake and fuel systems (i.e., two new front calipers and pads, new master cylinder, fuel pump and more), due to the car being parked indoors a couple years.
But more importantly, the car has itsrare and desirableoriginalnumbers matching 327 engine with 365 hp and 4 speed transmission. It also comes with knock off wheels and NOS Goodyear tires!
