1978 Corvette Greenwood GT Serial # 1005-78

Description

I have for sale a Rare and Unique Corvette.

I am the third owner of this Beauty (purchase from the widow of the second owner) The vehicle sat for many years before Iobtainedit.

A brief history of the car:

Built at ACI in Sylvania, Ohio during their partnership with John Greenwood.

The car was commissioned by a prominent builder in this area in 1978

During it's construction ACI and Greenwood parted ways

Hence it's Greenwood Serial # and ACI badging on the pillars.

It was the 5th car built and possibly the last that year, neither ACI or Greenwood can give me any further information on the exact number of cars built that year.

It is a very fine example with only 38,000mi

The car appears to be all original to the best of my knowledge

I have replaced the 2 rear tires and exhaust

The car has the L48 350 with automatic transmission

Power Windows, Power Brakes, Tilt-Tele Steering

"Blue" Glass T-Tops

AC line was broken when I got the car, I removed compressor and it will go with the car

Paint is in good condition for being 40 years old, it has the usual chips and scratches

Interior is in good shape as well

The car drives and stops as it should

Previous owner had the car shipped to ACI in 2013 and had $3000.00 worth of work done (all new calipers,radiator, hoses etc.) then had it shipped back home where it sat until I purchased in early 2017
