Own a piece of history with the first ever CRC 62 Corvette! CRCoachworks has been manufacturing the best of the best in Retro-Vette Corvettes for over 20 years. This was the very first car built out of owner, Doug Graf's, garage taking over 5000 hours. As a hobby in 1993, Graf decided he wanted a 62 Corvette as that was his first car when he was a teenager, but knew the discomfort and lack of amenities a real 62 Corvette would be in this day and age. He got a hold of a low mileage 1993 Anniversary Corvette (with a clean title) and then started his search for a 62 body he could wrap around it. This took many years as it was a side project and 5000 hours later it was a new masterpiece not known to car lovers yet. He and his wife would drive to car shows and people were amazed but confused as to what it was since it looked just like a stock 62 on the outside but a C4 on the inside. With a full tilt front end for easy access to the engine compartment, Graf added a few touches of his own.
This is a piece of drivable art and will hold some value being the first one ever built. This Corvette is painted Honduras Maroon (a stock 62 color) with matching interior. It comes a convertible top (no hard top) and has the same amenities the C4 Corvette has. Please call with any questions at all or if you'd like to see the car in person!
