1981 Corvette Coupe 48K Original miles

Description

1981 Corvette Coupe with 48K miles in original unrestored condition. Built in St. Louis. Silver with red interior a stunning combination. Rally wheels with trim rings. A fantastic good looking and running driver. Red interior seats look like leather but I am told they are in fact vinyl simulated leather. Factory original carbureted 350 automatic. AC converted from R12 to R134A radio replaced with Custom auto sound modern AM/FM/aux vintage look radio and Custom auto sound rear sound bar installed and new pioneer front speakers installed. Rear half of exhaust system replaced 2 years ago new battery last year new alternator 2 years ago. Power windows tilt wheel automatic transmission optional performance 2.87 rear axle ratio factory alarm system remote manual adjust side mirrors cruise control factory rear storage retractable cover. 2 sets of keys and factory owners manual.

The Good: Mechanically in fantastic condition drive it anywhere. Low original miles interior in great shape. AC and radio updated to modern specs.

The Bad: Everything woks except the clock adjuster is stripped (clock works) and the 12V cigarette lighter doesn't work ( I have a aftermarket aux 12 V power source I planned to install under the dash that I will include. Paint shows it's age. Looks good from 5 feet away but up close it shows 34 years of exposure to hazards and the elements. A fresh coat of paint would make this car a show winner but it is a stunningly good looking driver. Turns heads everywhere it is driven.
