Description
1978 Datsun 620 King Cab Pickup – VQ37VHR Swapped, 6-Speed, Custom One-Off Build
Clean Florida Title | Located in Fort Pierce, FL
This is a 1978 Datsun 620 King Cab pickup with just a few upgrades...
Let’s start with what matters: this truck starts with the push of a button, it drives, stops, turns, and it’s reliable. You’re not buying a project that needs months of work before it’s usable—this thing is ready to rip as soon as you are. The only work left is cosmetic or personal preference—like customizing the interior to match your own style.
This is the first known 620 with a properly fitted VQ37VHR swap. The same legendary 3.7L V6 used in the Nissan 370Z.
This low-mile VQ engine and 6-speed manual transmission came from a 2008 Infiniti. It was professionally installed with longevity, reliability, and serviceability in mind—no hacked-up shortcuts, no corner-cutting. Everything is thoughtfully laid out so you can maintain and repair it in the future without needing to tear the whole truck apart.
???? Built by Builders, Not Tinkerers:This is not a hobbyist project and not slapped together with eBay parts. This truck was built by a professional fabrication shop with nearly everything custom-made in-house. If it looks one-off, that’s because it is—most of what you see doesn’t exist to buy.

⚠️ DO NOT SHOW UP UNANNOUNCED. We’re a fully operational fabrication studio, not a car lot. We don’t have time for surprise visits or stories about how your uncle had one "just like it." Book an appointment and we’ll show you around properly.
This is a killer machine built with care and creativity. If you're into high-quality, wild custom builds—you won't find another one like it.
Cash is king. The minimum offer setting on this listing is NOT the bottom-line negotiating point, it's simply to weed out the dreamers. You can offer that low amount all day, but until there's money in front of us, it's all pointless banter.
