Barn find rescue originally owned (for 45 years) by a lady from SE Tenn. I am the 3rd owner and I bought the car in 2022 from the nephew of that lady. The miles are original -- I know this because the original oversize Chrysler rear drums are still on the car. There was a brake factory strike in 1974, and so Chrysler used the slightly larger drums from the 1974 Monaco. Someone replaced the Carter carb with a Holley, but it runs and drives and idles nicely. Keep in mind, it corners like the TITANIC, but it floats straight and true like the QUEEN MARY. IMPT NOTE: the quarters are RUSTED THRU in several areas and the vinyl top has a noticeable bubbled-up area. It has rear air shocks that hold air, but it has NO SPARE TIRE. I put 4 new tires on it, replaced plugs, wires, front brake pads, 1 leaky brake hose, coil, ignition control, thermostat, upper and lower hoses. Chgd oil, coolant, and other misc stuff. The car comes with factory service manuals, and a car cover. What she really needs is garage home in sunny Florida (owned by a retired paint and body man who is an expert in MOPAR upholstery). Please be aware: I live deep, DEEP in the mountains of WNC (3.9 miles from Robbinsville, NC); therefore, I can't pick you up at an airport, or any such nonsense.
