Description

The condition of this truck is used. There is some rust in normal locations for it's age. The inside of the bed is rough from being used as a cattle feeder. as well. whatever else this person did with it. I have also found that there has been some additional bracing welded in to support what I think might have been an engine modification using a CAT Diesel power plant. Also. there are two new floor board pan's that have been replaced and welded by the previous owner. I did over time find original parts to bring new life back into a "Blue Beast". that needed a revival. This is an original "High Boy" that is a Colorado born truck. sold new from Boulder Colorado. The truck made it's way out west sometime in 1999. I purchased it in 2000 while I live in Cedaredge. Back in 2007. I did drive it to Durango where it remained parked and later stored on a golf course a few miles from my home after finding it had a failing connecting rod. I believe that The truck was willed to a family member in 1999 and I am the first non family owner. This 1967 F-250 has undergone a major change from where it sat when I found it. The rear gear is a 4. 56 Danna 60 unit. with the matching front stock axle used with the closed knuckle front units. I installed a divorced high. low. transfer case using an original factory truck transmission. There has been a major transformation to add new life to this truck. I replaced the old 352 with a used short block 390. I did go through the block and found it to be very solid and a correct number 390 GT. The heads were updated to the D2TE-AA as they have hardened valves and guides. The heads are fresh builds from a performance machine shop in Eckert Colorado. I added a Luniti VooDoo flat tappet cam #10330702. Duration@ 262/268. with a RPM range of 1300-5500. New Melling #JB-2083 hydraulic lifters. New Lunati pushrod's #80762. Performance valve springs. rebuilt valve rockers. Melling High volume oil pump #M57HV. new ARP oil pump drive shaft #154-7902. nbsp;Cloyes Gear. true roller timing chain and gear set #9-3108. new ATI Super Damper #918310. and a Marsh performance aluminum crank pulley#1911. I did make a change with the oil pan by using a rear sump system. The engine has an Edelbrock "Performer 390" intake with a Carter AFB that is jetted for high altitude. The ignition system is MSD and it all breaths through a set of era correct headers for this truck. Other details include a set of front fenders(Rust Free). new radiator. alternator. fan. updated hose units. The wiring system has been completely reworked and repaired from years of "Cowboy Ranch" modifications that caused hours of unwanted electrical headaches. Oh. I did replace the rear tail light len's so they look better and they work. I will accept PayPal. certified wire transfer form your bank to mine. or cash. Purchaser is responsible for transportation of truck including pick-up and transport payment.
